Mark and Nataliya’s, Cherry Creek Jewelers, Secret of Their Success

While many chain jewelery stores remain empty these days (grim consequence of still-feared US financial crisis),  some of our local Colorado businesses — not only staying afloat, but — surprisingly — doing very, very well.  A perfect example:   Mark and Nataliya Hadleys’ jewelry business, a hidden “treasure chest” in prestigious Cherry Creek area.   Despite sad shopping prognoses (again this year), their company is thriving.   Why?  With very little advertising effort, they manage to attract more and more customers (some flying from other states) offering superb service, outstanding quality of diamonds, backed by certificates,  and — undoubtedly — unmatched prices.

I personally feel very lucky that I was introduced to Mark a few years ago when I was desperately shopping for a princess cut pure diamond my fiance wanted.  Most Denver jewelers gave me the price I couldn’t afford at that time.   Mark and Nataliya, with their friendly, easy-going approach, took such a wonderful care of me!   What a difference it was — to talk to someone like Mark–someone with many years of expertise, someone with personal and caring touch in everything he is doing!   Suddenly, everything felt right:  the small and home-like office atmosphere,  the amount of time Mark spent with me making sure that I will get the perfect setting for the diamond.   The stress was gone replaced by a very good feeling that I am dealing with the right guy.  And of course – the price that was at least 25 % less than whatever other jewelery stores called  I “a special manager’s discount.”  My fiance Kate and I walked out from Mark’s place knowing that we got exactly what she was dreaming about.

Holiday season, usually a very busy time for any store,  makes Mark and Nataliya’s office “crazy happy” with waiting lists of those wishing to purchase a perfect, yet well-priced gift for someone special.   Whatever the secret of Mark and Nataliya’s success story is, it makes all of us feel good — just knowing that some of our local Denver jewelry businesses are so successful.

Denver Jewelers sponsor Charity Event

This week, Denver Jewelers Mark and Nataliya Hadley sponsored a local charity event by donating a loose diamond valued at approximately $2000. The charity was created to support adults with Down Syndrome to help them live more normal lives in society. Mark and Nataliya have used their influence through the jewelry industry to sponsor over 30 charity events in the Denver area and state that they plan to continue to aggressively support local charities in the future.

Hey Denver, are you in the market for an engagement ring?  Are you starting to get that stomach sinking sense of going through the entire ordeal of finding a ring and then on top of that you are just as worried about the proposal, then it might be time to enlist some help. Many clients come to me, ready to get engaged, but too busy to find time to thoroughly research the 4 C’s (cut clarity, carat weight, and color).

Many of you find yourselves in jewelry stores feeling pressured, and not sure if they’re getting an honest price, actually knowing for sure you are not getting an honest price. This is most likely one of the major purchases that you’ll make in the course of your lifetime, and you want to make sure that you’re dealing with someone who you can trust. If you find that you’ve been shopping around and you don’t have a good feel in your gut about the people who you’ve been dealing with, listen to your sixth sense – it’s often right. Dealers who are honest shouldn’t give you a strange feeling – ever. Getting engaged is stressful enough. Your focus should be on how you’re going to ask, not going to several different Denver jewelers, hoping that you got a good deal and chose the right setting.

Know your Diamond: Advice from Denver Jewelers

Among all kinds of jewelry, diamonds are the most special. Diamonds are indeed very precious stones and are commonly used in special jewelries such as engagement rings and wedding rings.

Try to scratch your diamond. If it did get scratched, then its fake. Use a sandpaper if you must, if the diamond is real it shouldn’t be affected at all.

Denver Jewelers advice 3, try the newspaper test. If your diamond is unmounted, place it on the surface of a newspaper. A real diamond should refract light, so if you can clearly the letters of the newspaper it means that your diamond is a fake.
